Macquarie hits €6bn for its new European infrastructure fund

Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 6 (MEIF) finalised its fundraising at its hard cap at €6bn, above its initial target of €5bn.

The fund has an investment philosophy consistent with prior MEIF funds investing in brownfield equity in Transport, Integrated Utilities, and Communications Infrastructure, and Societal and Sustainable Infrastructure.

Since 2004, MEIF funds have invested €13 billion in more than 35 investments.
